The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The Clatterer (the Day of Judgement)! 1 What is the Striking Calamity? 2 And what will make you comprehend what the terrible calamity is? 3 A Day on which human beings would be like so many scattered moths, 4 And the mountains shall be as loosened wool. 5 Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds], 6 He will live a pleasant life. 7 And as for him whose measure of good deeds is light, 8 He will have his home in Hawiyah (pit, i.e. Hell). 9 Would that you knew what hawiya his? 10 It is a blazing fire. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
