And when the messengers came unto the family of Lot, 61 He said: Lo! ye are folk unknown (to me). 62 They answered: "Nay, but we have come unto thee with [the announcement of] something that they [who are given to evil] have always been wont to call in question, 63 And we have come to you with truth, and indeed, we are truthful. 64 Depart with your family in a part of the night and walk behind them and let none of you turn round. Go to a place where you are commanded' 65 And [through Our messengers] We revealed unto him this decree: "The last remnant of those [sinners] shall be wiped out in the morn." 66 And the people of the city came rejoicing. 67 Said Lot: "These are my guests; do not put me to shame, 68 but be conscious of God and disgrace me not!" 69 They said, “Had we not forbidden you from meddling in the affairs of anyone?” 70 He said: these are my daughters, if act ye must. 71 Verily, by your life (O Muhammad SAW), in their wild intoxication, they were wandering blindly. 72 Then the (Awful) Cry overtook them at the sunrise. 73 Thus did We turn it upside down, and rained down upon them stones of what had been decreed. 74 Surely! In this are signs, for those who see (or understand or learn the lessons from the Signs of Allah). 75 And verily they are on a pathway lasting. 76 surely in that is a sign for believers. 77 And indeed the Dwellers of the Woods were unjust. 78 and We took vengeance on them. The two of them were upon a roadway manifest. 79

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
