Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ By the Day of Resurrection, 1 And I call the reprehensive soul to witness: 2 Does man think We shall not put his bones together? 3 Yea, verily. We are Able to restore his very fingers! 4 Yet man wants to deny what is ahead of him: 5 He asks, "When will be the Day of Judgment?" 6 So when the sight becomes dazed, 7 And the moon shall be ecliped. 8 and the sun and the moon are joined together, 9 on that Day the human will ask: 'To (which place) shall I flee' 10 No! There is no refuge. 11 For on that Day the refuge shall be to your Lord. 12 To man will be declared on that Day that which he hath sent on and left behind. 13 Nay, man will be evidence against himself, 14 Whatever the excuses he may offer. 15 (Muhammad), do not move your tongue too quickly to recite the Quran. 16 Indeed assembling the Qur’an and reading it are upon Us. 17 Wherefore when We recite it, follow thou the reciting thereof. 18 Then it is for Us (Allah) to make it clear to you, 19 By no means! Verily ye love the Herein. 20 And neglect the Hereafter. 21 How many faces will be refulgent on that Day, 22 Looking toward their Lord. 23 Others will be despondent, 24 thou mightest think the Calamity has been wreaked on them. 25 No indeed; when it reaches the clavicles 26 And it is said: Who will be a magician? 27 (the angels of mercy or the angels of wrath,)" then, he will realize that it is time to leave this world. 28 When legs are twisted around each other, 29 To your Lord, that Day, will be the procession. 30
