Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
60 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Dunes (Al-Ahqaaf) before Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the scatterers (the wind) scattering, 1 Then by oath of those which carry the burdens. 2 and those that speed along with gentle ease, 3 and distributing the command of God at His behest! 4 Indeed, what you are promised is true. 5 And undoubtedly justice will surely be done. 6 The heavens webbed-with-tracks is witness 7 Certainly, you have different ideas (about Muhammad SAW and the Quran). 8 perverted in his views thereon is he who would deceive himself! 9 Accursed be the conjecturers 10 and who wander in the abyss of confusion. 11 They ask: when is the Day of Requital coming? 12 It will be the Day when they shall be scourged by the Fire 13 Taste your burning: this is that which ye sought to be hastened. 14 The pious ones will live amidst gardens and springs, 15 Taking what their Lord gives them; surely they were before that, the doers of good. 16 They slept but a little at night, 17 praying at dawn for God's pardon, 18 And in their wealth the beggar and the outcast had due share. 19 In the earth there is evidence (of the Truth) for those who have strong faith. 20 just as [there are signs thereof] within your own selves: can you not, then, see? 21 And in heaven is [the source of] your sustenance [on earth] and [of] all that you are promised [for your life after death]: 22 So by the Lord of heaven and earth, it is as surely true as that you have speech. 23

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
