The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta'. Sin. Mim. 1 Those are the verses of the clear Book. 2 Perchance thou consumest thyself that they are not believers. 3 If (such) were Our Will, We could send down to them from the sky a Sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 But never fresh remembrance comes to them from the All-merciful, except they turn away from it. 5 So they have indeed rejected (the truth), therefore the news of that which they mock shall soon come to them. 6 Have they not seen the earth, that how many honourable pairs We have created in it? 7 In this, behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 8 Your Lord, He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 9
