The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ The Beneficent 1 Taught the Quran. 2 He has created man: 3 and has taught him articulate speech. 4 The sun and the moon are scheduled. 5 And the herbs and the trees - both (alike) prostrate in adoration. 6 And the heaven He raised and imposed the balance 7 That ye should not trespass in respect of the balance. 8 And establish weight in justice and do not make deficient the balance. 9 He set down the earth for the creation. 10 Therein are fruits, date-palms producing sheathed fruit-stalks (enclosing dates). 11 and a variety of corn with both husk and grain. 12 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord, will ye twain belie? 13 He has created man, from dry ringing clay, like the potter"s, 14 and He created the jinn from smokeless fire. 15 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie 16 He is the Lord of the two easts and the Lord of the two wests. 17 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 18 He has set the two oceans in motion, converging together. 19 In-between the twain is a barrier which they pass not. 20 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 21 Out of them come pearls and coral. 22 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 23 His are the lofty ships, that rear aloft on the sea like mountains. 24 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 25

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
