Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 who created and shaped, 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
