Mention in the Book, Moses. He was devoted, a Messenger, and a Prophet. 51 We called him from the right side of Mount Sinai and drew him close for communication. 52 And bestowed on him his brother Aaron, a prophet, through Our benevolence. 53 And mention in the Book (the Quran) Isma'il (Ishmael). Verily! He was true to what he promised, and he was a Messenger, (and) a Prophet. 54 And he ordered his people to pray and to give charity and his Lord was pleased with him. 55 And mention in the Book Idris; he was a true man, a Prophet. 56 We raised him to a high place. 57 These were the Prophets from the offspring of Adam, from those who embarked with Noah and from the offspring of Abraham and Israel. God guided them and chose them for His favor. Whenever they would hear the revelations of the Beneficent God they would bow down in prostration with tears. ۩ 58 ۞ But there came after them an evil generation, who neglected prayers and followed and sensual desires, so they win meet perdition, 59 except for those who repent and believe and do good deeds. These will enter Heaven, and they will not be wronged in the least. 60 [theirs will be the] gardens of perpetual bliss which the Most Gracious has promised unto His servants, in a realm which is beyond the reach of human perception: [and,] verily, His promise is ever sure of fulfilment! 61 They will not hear any lewd talk in it, but only Peace; and in it for them is sustenance, every morning and evening. 62 That is the Paradise which We shall give the cautious worshipers to inherit. 63 And we descend not except by the command of thy Lord: His is whatsoever is before us and whatsoever is behind us and whatsoever is in-between; and thy Lord is not a forgetter 64 "Lord of the heavens and of the earth, and of all that is between them; so worship Him, and be constant and patient in His worship: knowest thou of any who is worthy of the same Name as He?" 65
