Noah's folk denied the messengers (of Allah), 105 when their brother Noah said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 106 I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you. 107 so serve you God, and obey you me. 108 I ask no recompense of you for it. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 109 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 110 ۞ They said, “Shall we believe in you, whereas the abject people are with you?” 111 Noah said: "What knowledge do I have about their deeds? 112 It is for my Lord to bring them to book, if you can understand. 113 And I am not to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a Prophet. 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will be stoned." 116 He said: "My Lord! My people have branded me a liar. 117 Therefore judge You between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me." 118 We saved him and those who were with him in a fully laden Ark, 119 then afterwards We drowned the rest. 120 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 121 surely your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 122
