۞ Say to them, "I exhort you to do one thing: and that is to stand up before God in pairs, or singly, and then reflect. You will thus realize that your companion is not afflicted with madness. He is only a warner, warning you of an impending severe chastisement." 46 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Whatever wage I might have asked of you is yours. My wage is from Allah only. and He is Witness over all things." 47 Say, "Indeed, my Lord projects the truth. Knower of the unseen." 48 Say: “The Truth has come and falsehood can neither originate nor recreate anything.” 49 Say: "Were I to go astray, I would but go astray [due to my own self, and] to the hurt of myself; but if I am on the right path, it is but by virtue of what my Sustainer reveals unto me: for, verily, He is all-hearing, ever-near!" 50 If you could see when they are gripped by terror without any escape, and are seized from close at hand 51 then they will say, "We now believe in Him." But how will they attain to faith, having gone so far away from it? 52 They had rejected it in their worldly life and expressed disbelief at the unseen (Day of Judgment), considering it less than a remote possibility. 53 A barrier will be placed between them and what they desire, as was done with the likes of them before. Surely they were in a disquieting doubt. 54
