1/2 Hizb 45

۞ Gather all the wicked together and their comrades, and those they had worshipped 22 "Instead of Allah, and lead them on to the way of flaming Fire (Hell); 23 And halt them, to be questioned: 24 They will be asked, "Why do you not help each other?" 25 Nay, but that Day they shall surrender, 26 They will then turn towards each other (and start wrangling). 27 They will say, "Indeed, you used to come at us from the right." 28 But they reply: 'Rather, you were not believers. 29 We had no authority over you, in fact, you were a rebellious people. 30 "So now the Word of our Lord has been justified against us, that we shall certainly (have to) taste (the torment). 31 Thus we misled you. Lo! we were (ourselves) astray. 32 Then lo! this day they (both) are sharers in the doom. 33 Indeed, that is how We deal with the criminals. 34 Verily when it was said unto them: there is no god but Allah, they ever grew stiff-necked. 35 And they said: are we going to abandon our gods on account of a poet distracted? 36 Nay, but he brought the Truth, and he confirmed those sent (before him). 37 Most surely you will taste the painful punishment. 38 but you shall not be recompensed except for what you were doing. 39 Except for God's sincere servants; 40 For them awaits a known provision, 41 fruits. And they are receivers of generosity 42 In Gardens of peace. 43 facing one another [in love] upon thrones of happiness. 44 A cup will be passed round among them [with a drink] from unsullied springs, 45 White, delicious to the drinkers, 46 no headiness will be in it, and they will not get drunk thereon. 47 And with them are those who do not set gaze upon men except their husbands, the maidens with gorgeous eyes. 48 As if they were eggs carefully protected. 49 They will turn to one another with questions: 50 A speaker of them will say: "Verily, I had a companion (in the world), 51 who would say: "Are you among the believers (of the resurrection)? 52 (Do you think) we would be paid back our due when we are dead and reduced to dust and bones?' 53 He will say: -- Do you wish to know where he is now?' 54 So he looked down and saw him in the midst of the Fire. 55 He saith: By Allah, thou verily didst all but cause my ruin, 56 But for the Favor of Allah I should have surely been among those who were arraigned (with you in Hell). 57 Are we then not to die 58 Except our previous death? And we shall not be chastised? 59 This is certainly the greatest triumph 60 For the like of this, then, let the workers work. 61 Is this better as an entertainment or the tree of Zaqqum? 62 Verily, We have caused it to be a trial for evildoers: 63 It is a tree that grows from the bottom of Hell; 64 Its produce is as it were the heads of the serpents. 65 and they [who are lost in evil] are indeed bound to eat thereof, and to fill their bellies therewith. 66 then in addition to it they shall have a draught of boiling water to drink; 67 then surely they shall return to Hell. 68 They found their fathers erring, 69 So they (too) made haste to follow in their footsteps! 70 And indeed most of the men of old went astray before them; 71 We had certainly sent warners to them. 72 Observe, then, what was the end of those that had been warned, 73 Not so the chosen servants of God. 74
