The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I swear by the early hours of the day, 1 and the night when it grows still and dark. 2 Thy Lord has neither forsaken thee nor hates thee 3 And the Hereafter is indeed better unto thee than the life present. 4 And indeed, in time will thy Sustainer grant thee [what thy heart desires,] and thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Has He not found thee an orphan, and given thee shelter? 6 And He found thee wandering, and He gave thee guidance. 7 And find you in want and make you to be free from want? 8 Therefore do not treat the orphan with harshness, 9 Nor repulse the petitioner (unheard); 10 but proclaim the blessings of your Lord. 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
