Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
(I swear) by the snorting chargers (of the warriors), whose hoofs strike against the rocks 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 And therein raising dust. 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 for, verily, to the love of wealth is he most ardently devoted. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened – 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
