▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 2 of 3
All that is on earth will perish: 26 while your Lord's own Self will remain full of majesty and glory. 27 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 28 All those who are in the heavens and the earth ask of Him; every moment He is in a state (of glory). 29 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 30 We shall attend to you, O you two classes (jinns and men)! 31 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 32 O ye assembly of Jinns and men! If it be ye can pass beyond the zones of the heavens and the earth, pass ye! not without authority shall ye be able to pass! 33 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 34 There shall be sent against you both flame of fire and smoke, and ye shall not be able to defend yourselves. 35 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 36 And when the heaven is split open and becomes rose-colored like oil - 37 O which of our Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 38 on that day none shall be questioned about his sin, neither man nor jinn. 39 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 40 (For) the sinners will be known by their marks: and they will be seized by their forelocks and their feet. 41 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 42 This is hell which the guilty deny. 43 They shall keep going back and forth between it and the extremely hot boiling water. 44 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 45
