Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Ya Sin 1 Consider this Qur'an full of wisdom: 2 you are indeed one of the messengers 3 on a straight path, 4 (The Qur’an is) Sent down by the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 5 That thou mayst warn a folk whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 Indeed, the word [of God's condemnation] is bound to come true against most of them: for they will not believe. 7 We have indeed put shackles around their necks reaching up to the chins, so they remain facing upwards. 8 We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and, We have covered them so that they do not see. 9 And it is the same for them, whether you warn them or do not warn them – they will not believe. 10 You can only warn him who follows the Reminder (the Quran), and fears the Most Beneficent (Allah) unseen. Bear you to such one the glad tidings of forgiveness, and a generous reward (i.e. Paradise). 11 Surely, it is We who revive the dead and write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind; We have counted everything in a Clear Book. 12
