Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the bright forenoon, 1 And [by] the night when it covers with darkness, 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you nor does He dislike you! 3 for, indeed, the life to come will be better for thee than this earlier part [of thy life]! 4 Verily your Lord will soon give you so amply that you will be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter (and care)? 6 Did He not find you a wanderer so He guided you? 7 Did He not find you in want, and make you free from want? 8 Therefore, as for the orphan, do not oppress (him). 9 and him that seeks [thy] help shalt thou never chide, 10 And abundantly proclaim the favours of your Lord. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
