Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake 1 And the earth discharges its burdens 2 And man saith: what aileth her? 3 upon that day she shall tell her tidings 4 Because thy Lord inspireth her. 5 On that Day will men proceed in companies sorted out, to be shown the deeds that they (had done). 6 Whosoever has done even an atom's weight of good will behold it; 7 and whoever does an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
