Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Ya Sin 1 By the wise Qur'an, 2 thou art truly among the Envoys 3 On the Straight Path. 4 The sending down of the Mighty, the Most Merciful 5 So that you may warn these people whose ancestors were not warned, they are therefore unaware. 6 The Phrase has become obligatory upon most of them, yet they do not believe. 7 Verily We have placed on their necks shackles which are up to the chins; so that their heads are forced up. 8 And We have placed before them a barrier and behind them a barrier, so We have covered them, so that they see not. 9 And it is alike to them whether you warn them or warn them not: they do not believe. 10 Thou canst but admonish such a one as follows the Message and fears the (Lord) Most Gracious, unseen: give such a one, therefore, good tidings, of Forgiveness and a Reward most generous. 11 It is We who bring the dead to life and records the deeds of human beings and their consequences (of continual effects). We keep everything recorded in an illustrious Book. 12
