Al-Takweer
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
When the sun is wound up; 1 And when the stars darken, 2 And when the mountains are driven. 3 when the pregnant camels shall be neglected, 4 and when all beasts are gathered together, 5 And when the seas are set afire. 6 And when the souls shall be joined with their bodies; 7 And when the girl buried alive shall be asked: 8 for what sin she was killed, 9 when the scrolls are unrolled, 10 And when the heaven has its covering removed, 11 And when Hellfire is set ablaze 12 And when Paradise is brought near. 13 Every soul will then come to know what it has brought. 14 So, I call the receding stars to witness, 15 The planets withdrawing into themselves, 16 and the night as it darkly falls, 17 and the morn as it softly breathes: 18 That this is indeed the word of an honoured Messenger, 19 Owner of strength, of established dignity with the Lord of the Throne. 20 obeyed, moreover trusty. 21 Nor is your companion distracted. 22 Assuredly he beheld him in the horizon manifest. 23 and he is not one to begrudge others the knowledge [of whatever has been revealed to him] out of that which is beyond the reach of human Perception. 24 And it (the Quran) is not the word of the outcast Shaitan (Satan). 25 Whither then will you go? 26 It is not except a reminder to the worlds 27 to every one of you who wishes to tread the straight path. 28 But ye shall not will except as Allah wills,- the Cherisher of the Worlds. 29

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
