Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
I swear by the early hours of the day, 1 and the brooding night! 2 Thy Guardian-Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 and the Hereafter will indeed be better for you than the present life; 4 Your Lord will soon grant you sufficient favors to please you. 5 Did He not find you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) an orphan and gave you a refuge? 6 And He found you lost and guided [you], 7 And found you in need, so made you prosperous? 8 Therefore do not treat the orphan with harshness, 9 Nor repulse the petitioner (unheard); 10 and as for thy Lord's blessing, declare it. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
