Do you not see that We have sent the devils upon the disbelievers, inciting them to [evil] with [constant] incitement? 83 So take no hasty action against them; their days are numbered. 84 On the Day when We shall gather the Godconscious unto [Us,] the Most Gracious, as honoured guests, 85 And drive the guilty unto hell, a weary herd, 86 who have no power of intercession, except those who have taken a covenant with the Merciful. 87 And they say: the Compassionate hath taken a son. 88 This is certainly a monstrous lie! 89 the heavens might well-nigh burst thereat, and the earth break asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces, 90 because they ascribe a son to the Gracious One. 91 The Beneficent God is too Exalted to have a son. 92 All those who are in the heavens and the earth will come to the Most Gracious as His bondmen. 93 He has counted them and calculated their number. 94 And each one of them will come unto Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 Indeed those who believed and did good deeds – the Most Gracious will appoint love for them. (In the hearts of other believers.) 96 We have made it easy in your own tongue in order that you proclaim the glad tidings to the cautious and give warning to a stubborn nation. 97 for, how many a generation have We destroyed before their time - [and] canst thou perceive any one of them [now,] or hear any whisper of them? 98
