And assuredly unto the household of Fir'awn came the warning. 41 They cried lies to Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with the seizing of One mighty, omnipotent. 42 Are your disbelievers better than they were, or have you been given exemption in the Books? 43 Or do they say, 'We are a congregation that shall be succoured?' 44 Soon will their multitude be put to flight, and they will show their backs. 45 But the Hour is their appointment [for due punishment], and the Hour is more disastrous and more bitter. 46 Surely the sinners are misguided and insane. 47 The Day they will be dragged through the Fire on their faces, (they will hear:) "Taste ye the touch of Hell!" 48 We have created everything in due measure; 49 And Our Order is but one word like the flashing of an eye. 50 We destroyed many people like you (disbelievers) but is there anyone who would take heed (of Our warning)? 51 All that they do is noted in (their) Books (of Deeds): 52 Every small or great deed is written down. 53 The God-conscious will find themselves in gardens and rivers, 54 in a secure abode, in the presence of the Powerful King. 55
