But no; I swear by what you see, 38 as well as all that you cannot see: 39 that this is the speech of an honourable Messenger, 40 it is not the word of a poet -- how little you believe! -- 41 nor is it the work of a soothsayer but only a few of you take heed. 42 It is a revelation sent down by the Sustainer of the Universe: 43 And if he had forged concerning us some discourses. 44 We would certainly have seized him by the right hand, 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein, 46 And not one of you could have held Us off from him. 47 But verily this is a Message for the Allah-fearing. 48 We know that there are some among you who will belie. 49 But truly (Revelation) is a cause of sorrow for the Unbelievers. 50 And most surely it is the true certainty 51 So glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
