Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The mutual rivalry for piling up (the good things of this world) diverts you (from the more serious things), 1 until you visit the graves. 2 But no, indeed, you shall soon know. 3 Indeed you will come to know soon. 4 No indeed; did you know with the knowledge of certainty, 5 Indeed you will see hell. 6 And again, you shall see it with certainty of sight! 7 Then, on that day, you will be questioned about the bounties (of God). 8

Almighty Allah's Truth.
