S (Saad)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Sad. By the Qur'an full of admonition. 1 But those who disbelieve are in pride and dissension. 2 How many a generation We destroyed before them, and they cried out when it was no longer the time for escape! 3 And they marvel that there should come unto them a warner from among themselves. And the infidels say: this is a magician and a liar! 4 "Has he made the aliha (gods) (all) into One Ilah (God - Allah). Verily, this is a curious thing!" 5 Their assembly left (saying): 'Go, and be patient to your gods, this is something to be desired. 6 We have heard nothing like this in the latest religion. This is only his own false invention. 7 Can it be that he alone has received the Quran?" In fact, they have doubts about My Quran and this is because they have not yet faced (My) torment. 8 Or is it that they have the treasures of the mercy of your Lord, the Mighty, the great Giver? 9 Have they control over heavens and earth and whatever [lies] between them? Then let them climb up to heaven by ropes: 10 A very host of parties is routed there! 11 Before them there have belied the people of Nuh and the 'Aad, and Fir'awn the owner of the stakes. 12 and so did Thamud and the people of Lot and the people of Aykah. These were all leagued together. 13 Not one (of them) but rejected the messengers, but My punishment came justly and inevitably (on them). 14
