The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

THE STARTLING CALAMITY. 1 What is the (Day) of Noise and Clamour? 2 And what will make you know what the striking (Hour) is? 3 On that Day people shall become like scattered moths 4 The mountains like the tufts of carded wool. 5 Then he whose scales weigh heavier 6 He shall be in a life well-pleasing. 7 But as for him whose deeds are light on the scales, 8 shall be engulfed by an abyss. 9 And what shall make thee know that which she is? 10 (It is) a Fire which is extremely hot. 11
