The pious will live in gardens with streams 45 Enter therein in peace, secure. 46 And We shall have removed whatsoever of grudge may be in their breasts: brethren they; sitting upon couches facing each other. 47 Toil shall not afflict them in it, nor shall they be ever ejected from it. 48 ۞ (Muhammad), tell My servants that I am All-forgiving and All-merciful 49 and that My punishment is a painful one. 50 Inform them about the matter of Abraham's guests. 51 when they came to him they greeted him with: "Peace." He said,"We feel afraid of you." 52 They said, "Do not be afraid. We come to you with good news. You shall have a son who shall be endowed with great knowledge." 53 He said: Do you give me good news (of a son) when old age has come upon me?-- Of what then do you give me good news! 54 They said: We give you good news with truth, therefore be not of the despairing. 55 He said, 'And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, excepting those that are astray?' 56 He added: "What is your errand O sent ones?" 57 They said: We have been sent unto a guilty folk, 58 "Excepting the adherents of Lut: them we are certainly (charged) to save (from harm),- All - 59 except his wife. We have decreed that she will be among those who remain behind [and will be lost]. 60

(1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
