Moses said: "Lord! Open my breast for me; 25 And ease my task for me; 26 Loosen the knot in my tongue, 27 That they may understand my speech. 28 Appoint a deputy (for me) from my own people. 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 Strengthen me through him 31 "And let him share my task (of conveying Allah's Message and Prophethood), 32 So shall we glorify Thee, 33 and remember You much: 34 You are surely watching over us. 35 He replied: 'Moses, your request is granted. 36 And assuredly We conferred a benefit on thee another time. 37 When we inspired in thy mother that which is inspired, 38 “That, ‘Put him into a chest and cast it into the river, so the river shall deposit it on to a shore – therefore one who is an enemy to Me and you, shall pick him up’; and I bestowed upon you love from Myself; and for you to be brought up in My sight.” 39 What time thy sister was walking along and saying: shall I direct you unto one who will take care of him? Thus We returned thee to thy mother that she might cool her eyes and she might not grieve. And thou slewest a person, but We delivered thee from sorrow, and We tried thee with several trials. Then thou tarriedst for years among the people of Madyan then thou camest according to fate, O Musa! 40 I chose you for Myself. 41 “You and your brother, both go with My signs, and do not slacken in My remembrance.” 42 "Go, both of you, to Fir'aun (Pharaoh), verily, he has transgressed (all bounds in disbelief and disobedience and behaved as an arrogant and as a tyrant). 43 Speak to him gently. He may possibly take heed or may come to have fear." 44 They said, "Our Lord, indeed we are afraid that he will hasten [punishment] against us or that he will transgress." 45 He said: Fear not, surely I am with you both: I do hear and see. 46 So go to him and say: 'The two of us have indeed been sent by your Lord. So let the children of Israel come with us, and do not oppress them. We have come to you with a token from your Lord. Peace on him who follows the way of guidance. 47 Verily we! it hath been revealed unto us that the torment will be for him who belieth and turneth away. 48 He asked: "Who then is that Lord of yours, O Moses?" 49 [Musa (Moses)] said: "Our Lord is He Who gave to each thing its form and nature, then guided it aright." 50 (Pharaoh) said: "What then is the condition of previous generations?" 51 Moses said, "My Lord alone has knowledge of that, recorded in a Book. My Lord neither errs nor forgets." 52 "He Who has, made for you the earth like a carpet spread out; has enabled you to go about therein by roads (and channels); and has sent down water from the sky." With it have We produced diverse pairs of plants each separate from the others. 53 You eat and let your cattle graze' Surely, in this there are signs for those of understanding. 54
