Prostration (Al-Sajdah)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Alif. Lam. Mim. 1 (This is) the Revelation of the Book in which there is no doubt,- from the Lord of the Worlds. 2 Or do they say, 'He has forged it'? Say: 'Not so; it is the truth from thy Lord that thou mayest warn a people to whom no warner came before thee, that haply so they may be guided. 3 It is Allah Who created the heavens and the earth, and all what is between them, in six days, then (befitting His Majesty) established Himself over the Throne (of control); leaving Allah, there is neither a friend nor an intercessor for you; so do you not ponder? 4 He regulates all affairs from high to low, then they rise to perfection step by step in a (heavenly) day whose measure is a thousand years of your reckoning. 5 He is the knower of the Unseen and the Visible, the All-mighty, the All-compassionate, 6 He Who has made everything which He has created most good: He began the creation of man with (nothing more than) clay, 7 Then He made his posterity out of the extract of a liquid disdained. 8 then He duly proportioned him, and breathed into him of His spirit, and bestowed upon you ears and eyes and hearts. And yet, little thanks do you give. 9 And they said, “When we have mingled into the earth, will we be created again?”; in fact they disbelieve in the meeting with their Lord. 10 ۞ Say: "The angel of death, who is set over you, will take your souls, then you shall be brought to your Lord." 11
