Noah had verily called to Us. And how gracious was He who answered (him). 75 We saved him and his people from the great distress, 76 And We made his offspring the survivors. 77 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 78 'Peace be upon Noah among all beings!' 79 As such We recompense the gooddoers, 80 Surely he was one of Our truly believing servants. 81 Then We drowned the disbelievers. 82 ۞ And Abraham indeed was of his inducement, 83 he came to his Lord with a sound heart. 84 when he said to his father and his folk, 'What do you serve? 85 It is falsehood that you desire gods other than Allah! 86 What, then, do you think of the Sustainer of all the worlds?" 87 Then he cast a glance at the stars (to deceive them), 88 and said: “I am sick.” 89 and at that they turned their backs on him and went away. 90 Then he turned towards their gods and said: "Why do you not eat (of these offerings)? 91 What is amiss with you that you do not speak?" 92 And then he fell upon them, smiting them with his right hand. 93 So the people descended upon him. 94 Said he: What! do you worship what you hew out? 95 while it is Allah Who has created you and all that you make?” 96 They spoke among themselves: “Build him a pyre and then throw him into the furnace.” 97 So they contrived a plot against him, but We made them abject. 98 And he said: verily I am going to my Lord who will guide me. 99 Lord, grant me a righteous son." 100 We therefore gave him the glad tidings of an intelligent son. 101 And when he attained the age of running with him, he said: O my son! verily I have seen in a dream that I am slaughtering thee; so look, what considerest thou? He said: O my father! do that which thou art commanded; thou shalt find me, Allah willing, of the patients. 102 And when they had both submitted and he put him down upon his forehead, 103 And We called out to him, “O Ibrahim!” 104 "Thou hast already fulfilled the vision!" - thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 105 Verily that! that was a trial manifest. 106 So We ransomed him for a great sacrifice, 107 And We perpetuated (praise) to him among the later generations. 108 "Peace and salutation to Abraham!" 109 Thus, do We reward the righteous ones. 110 He was one of Our believing worshipers. 111 Then, We gave him the glad tidings of Isaac, a Prophet, one of the righteous, 112 And We showered Our blessings on him and on Ishaq; and of their offspring are the doers of good, and (also) those who are clearly unjust to their own souls. 113
