But nay! I swear by that which you see, 38 and what you do not see 39 because the Quran is certainly the word of a reverent messenger. 40 It is not the word of a poet but only a few of you have faith, 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer. Little is it that you reflect! 42 (It is) a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 43 Had he invented sayings against Us, 44 We would have seized him by the right hand 45 And then severed his life-artery, 46 and none of you could have held Us off from him. 47 Indeed, it is a Reminder to those who fear Allah, 48 And most surely We know that some of you are rejecters. 49 Surely it is a sorrow to the unbelievers; 50 And verily it is the truth of assured certainty. 51 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 52
