Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By (the angels) sent forth with the commands of God, 1 And the winds that blow violently 2 And by the winds that scatter clouds and rain; 3 by (the angels) who make a clear distinction between right and wrong 4 And by the angels that bring the revelations to the Messengers, 5 [promising] freedom from blame or [offering] a warning! 6 Surely that which ye are promised will befall. 7 So when the stars are put out, 8 And when the sky is split apart. 9 And when the mountains are made into dust and blown away. 10 And when the apostles are gathered at their appointed time 11 for what Day has this been appointed? 12 For the Day of Judgement. 13 And what will convey unto thee what the Day of Decision is! - 14 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients 16 So shall We make later (generations) follow them. 17 Thus do We deal with the guilty. 18 On that day, woe upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 19 Did We not create you out of a humble fluid 20 that We laid within a sure lodging 21 for an appointed term? 22 We determined; excellent determiners are We. 23 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle. 25 for the living and for the dead? 26 And have placed therein firm and tall mountains and given you to drink of water fresh 27 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 28 Depart to that you cried was lies! 29 Proceed to that shadow, rising in three columns 30 affording neither shade, nor protection from the flames, 31 The fire will shoot out sparks as big as huge towers 32 which seem as though they are yellow-coloured camels. 33 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 34 That will be the Day on which they will not (be able to) utter a word, 35 Nor will they be given permission to present excuses. 36 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 37 This is the day of decision: We have gathered you and those of yore. 38 So if you have any plot to devise against Me, then devise it. 39 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 40
