The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the racers, panting, 1 Striking sparks of fire 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Is he not aware that when whatever lies (buried) in the graves is overthrown; 9 And the hearts' contents shall be brought into the open? 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11
