Indeed, We created the human. We know the whisperings of his soul, and are closer to him than the jugular vein. 16 and the two recording angels are recording, sitting on the right and the left: 17 whatever phrase he utters, an observer is present. 18 The trance of death will come revealing the truth: that is what you were trying to escape. 19 And the trumpet blast will sound: It would be the Day of Doom. 20 And there shall come every soul therewith shall be a driver and a witness. 21 (It will be said:) "Thou wast heedless of this; now have We removed thy veil, and sharp is thy sight this Day!" 22 And his accompanying angel said, “This is the record of your deeds, available with me.” 23 [Whereupon God will command:] "Cast, cast into hell every [such] stubborn enemy of the truth, 24 every hinderer of the good, transgressor, disquieter, 25 “The one who appointed another God along with Allah – so both of you fling him into the severe punishment.” 26 ۞ His accompanying devil said, “Our Lord! I did not cause him to rebel, but he himself was in extreme error.” 27 He will say, “Do not dispute before Me – I had already warned you of the punishment.” 28 and My word shall not be changed, nor am I unjust to My servants." 29
