Al-Infitaar
Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven becomes cleft asunder, 1 And when the stars shall be scattered, 2 And when the seas are burst forth (got dried up); 3 And the sepulchres are overturned, 4 A soul will know what it hath sent before (it) and what left behind. 5 O man! What has made you careless concerning your Lord, the Most Generous? 6 who created you, formed you and proportioned you? 7 In whatever form He willed, He put you together. 8 Not at all – but rather you deny the establishment of Justice. 9 And yet, verily, there are ever-watchful forces over you, 10 watching over you 11 who know of all that you do. 12 Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure, 13 whereas the wicked will be in Hell; 14 Roasted they shall be therein on the Day of Requital. 15 And they will not be able to keep away therefrom. 16 What will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 17 Again, what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 18 The day on which no soul shall control anything for (another) soul; and the command on that day shall be entirely Allah's. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
