Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the snorting courses, 1 And strike sparks of fire, 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe), 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 Verily, that Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) their Lord will be Well-Acquainted with them (as to their deeds), (and will reward them for their deeds). 11
