Verily We gave Moses the Book; so be not in doubt about his having received it; and We made it a guidance for the children of Israel. 23 We appointed some of the Israelites as leaders for their exercising patience to guide the others to Our commands. They had firm belief in Our revelations. 24 Verily thy Lord will judge between them on the Day of Judgment, in the matters wherein they differ (among themselves) 25 Did (these historical events) not make them realise that We destroyed many nations before them amidst whose dwellings they now move about? Surely there are many Signs in this. Are they unable to hear? 26 Have they not seen that We drive the water to the barren land and cause crops to grow which they and their cattle consume? Why, then, they will not see? 27 They also say, 'When shall be this Victory, if you speak truly?' 28 Say, "On the Day of Judgement it will be of no benefit to those who were bent on denying the truth, if they [then] believe! They will be granted no respite." 29 So turn away from them and wait. They too are waiting. 30
