Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 guided them to the right path, 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
