Hizb 46

Jonah too was one of the Envoys; 139 He abandoned his people 140 And lots were cast (when a storm overtook them), he was rejected, (and thrown overboard). 141 And the fish swallowed him while he was blameworthy; 142 Now had he not been of those that glorify God, 143 He would certainly have remained inside the Fish till the Day of Resurrection. 144 ۞ But We caused him to be cast forth on to the beach, sick as he was, 145 and caused a gourd tree to grow over him, 146 And [then] We sent him [once again] to [his people,] a hundred thousand [souls] or more: 147 and they believed in him: so We let them live in ease for a while. 148 So inquire of them, [O Muhammad], "Does your Lord have daughters while they have sons? 149 Or, did We create the angels females while they were witnessing? 150 Oh, verily, it is out of their own [inclination to] falsehood that some people assert, 151 “Allah has begotten.” They are liars! 152 Hath He chosen daughters above sons? 153 What ails you then, how you judge? 154 Will ye not then reflect? 155 Or have you received some clear authority? 156 Bring your Book, if what you say is true! 157 They have established a kinship between Allah and the angels; and the angels know well that these people will be arraigned (as culprits). 158 Exalted is Allah above what they describe, 159 But not so the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 160 So neither you nor those you worship 161 You cannot make anyone rebel against Him. 162 except those who are doomed to enter hell. 163 And the angels say, “Each one of us has an appointed known position.” 164 We stand in ranks (for prayer) 165 "And we are verily those who declare (Allah's) glory!" 166 And surely they used to say: 167 "If we had had with us a Book like that of the people of old, 168 "We would have indeed been the chosen slaves of Allah (true believers of Islamic Monotheism)!" 169 They therefore denied it, so they will soon come to know. 170 And certainly Our word has already gone forth in respect of Our servants, the apostles: 171 that they shall certainly be succoured, 172 and that Our hosts shall triumph. 173 So withdraw from them (O Muhammad) awhile, 174 and watch them. They, too, will watch. 175 What! would they then hasten on Our chastisement? 176 When it comes down on their plains, it will be an evil dawn for those who had been warned. 177 Hence, turn thou aside for a while from them, 178 and see [them for what they are]; and in time they [too] will come to see [what they do not see now]. 179 Exalted is your Lord, the Lord of might, above what they describe. 180 And peace be on the Messengers! 181 It is only God, the Lord of the Universe, who deserves all praise. 182
Almighty Allah's Truth.
