Didst thou (O Muhammad) observe him who turned away, 33 And gave a little, then was grudging? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the unseen, thus, he sees (all things)? 35 Or has he never yet been told of what was [said] in the revelations of Moses, 36 and Abraham, he who paid his debt in full? 37 That no laden one shall bear another's load, 38 nor can man achieve anything without hard labor. 39 And that his effort will soon be scrutinised? 40 And only then will he receive his recompense in full; 41 and that the final end is unto thy Lord, 42 It is He who causes laughter and weeping. 43 And that He it is Who causes death and gives life- 44 That He did create in pairs,- male and female, 45 From a drop (of seed) when it is poured forth; 46 and that it is for Him to grant the second life, 47 that He it is Who bestowed wealth and riches, 48 And that He it is Who is the Lord of Sirius; 49 and that it is He who destroyed the ancient [tribes of] Ad 50 And the Thamud nor gave them a lease of perpetual life. 51 And the folk of Noah aforetime, Lo! they were more unjust and more rebellious; 52 And He destroyed the overthrown cities [of Sodom to which Prophet Lout (Lot) was sent]. 53 So there covered them that which did cover (i.e. torment with stones). 54 So, which of your Lord's bounties will you doubt?” 55 This [Prophet] is a warner like the former warners. 56 What is to come is imminent. 57 None beside Allah can disclose it. 58 Do you marvel then at this discourse (the Koran)? 59 And will you laugh and not weep? 60 And you are lost in play! 61 But fall ye down in prostration to Allah, and adore (Him)! ۩ 62
