The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ THE TRUE BELIEVERS will be successful, 1 those who humble themselves in their prayer, 2 And those who turn away from Al-Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk, falsehood, and all that Allah has forbidden). 3 who observe Zakah; 4 And who guard their modesty - 5 Except before their mates or those whom their right hands possess, for they surely are not blameable, 6 So whoever desires more than these two – they are crossing the limits. 7 and who preserve their trusts and their covenant 8 And those who keep a guard on their prayers; 9 It is they, they who shall be the inheritors 10 that will inherit the paradise; [and] therein shall they abide. 11 We have created the human being from an extract of clay 12 then We placed him as a drop of fluid in a safe place, 13 Then We made the seed a clot, then We made the clot a lump of flesh, then We made (in) the lump of flesh bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, then We caused it to grow into another creation, so blessed be Allah, the best of the creators. 14 Then lo! after that ye surely die. 15 then on the Day of Resurrection you shall surely be raised up. 16 And indeed, We have created above you seven [celestial] orbits: and never are We unmindful of [any aspect of Our] creation. 17 And We sent down from the heaven water in measure, and We caused it to settle in the earth; and verily to take it away We are Able. 18 We grow orchards of dates and grapes from it for you, Which yield fruits in abundance that you eat. 19 And a tree that springeth forth from Mount Sinai that groweth oil and relish for the eaters. 20 And indeed, for you in livestock is a lesson. We give you drink from that which is in their bellies, and for you in them are numerous benefits, and from them you eat. 21 And on them, as well as in ships, ye ride. 22
