Pray, (O Muhammad): "My Lord, if You should bring the scourge of which they had been warned in my presence, 93 "Then, O my Lord! put me not amongst the people who do wrong!" 94 And verily We are Able to show thee that which We have promised them. 95 Repel evil with that which is best: We are well acquainted with the things they say. 96 And say: 'O my Lord, I seek refuge in You from evil suggestions of the satans. 97 "And I seek refuge with Thee O my Lord! lest they should come near me." 98 Until, when death comes to one of them he says: 'My Lord, let me go back, 99 that I have left behind. I am likely to do good." Nay, it is merely a word that he is uttering. There is a barrier behind all of them (who are dead) until the Day when they will be raised up. 100 For when the Trumpet is blown, that day there shall be no kinship any more between them, neither will they question one another. 101 Then, those whose scales (of good deeds) are heavy, - these, they are the successful. 102 But those whose scales are light - those are the ones who have lost their souls, [being] in Hell, abiding eternally. 103 the Fire smiting their faces the while they glower there. 104 “Were not My verses recited to you, so you used to deny them?” 105 They will say: "Our Lord! Our misfortune prevailed over us. We were indeed an erring people. 106 "Our Lord! Bring us out of this; if ever we return (to evil), then indeed we shall be Zalimun: (polytheists, oppressors, unjust, and wrong-doers, etc.)." 107 He shall say: Go away into it and speak not to Me; 108 Among My worshipers there were a party who said: "Lord, we believed. Forgive us and have mercy on us: You are the Best of the merciful." 109 “So you took them for a mockery until your mocking at them made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them!” 110 I have rewarded them this day for they were constant, and they have come to attainment." 111 He (Allah) will say: "What number of years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will reply. "We remained for about a day or part of it, but ask those who have kept count". 113 He will say: "You stayed only for a while, if you only knew that. 114 Deemed ye then that We had created you for naught, and that ye would not be returned unto Us? 115 So Most Supreme is Allah, the True King; there is no God except Him; Lord of the Throne of Honour. 116 Whoever worships another god apart from God, for which he holds no proof, will have to account for it before his Lord. Verily the unbelievers will not prosper. 117 And, [O Muhammad], say, "My Lord, forgive and have mercy, and You are the best of the merciful." 118
