The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the Event (the resurrection) comes 1 There is no belying its coming to pass-- 2 (a calamitous Event) that shall turn things upside down: 3 When the earth is violently shaken 4 and the mountains are shattered into [countless] shards, 5 they will become like dust scattered around. 6 You will become three categories: 7 Those on the Right -- how blessed are those on the Right! 8 And those on the left how (wretched) are those on the left! 9 And the preceders are the preceders. 10 They shall be the nearest to God. 11 In Gardens of Delight. 12 A multitude of those of old 13 And a few of those of later time. 14 on lavish couches 15 reclining on them, arrayed face to face; 16 Surrounded by immortal boys. 17 With goblets and ewers and a cup of pure drink; 18 (no brows throbbing, no intoxication) 19 And such fruits as they fancy, 20 And the meat of fowl, from whatever they desire. 21 And [for them are] fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes, 22 The like of the hidden pearls: 23 shall be their recompense for their deeds. 24 No Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk) will they hear therein, nor any sinful speech (like backbiting, etc.). 25 only the saying 'Peace, Peace!' 26 The Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 27 (They will be) among Lote-trees without thorns, 28 Bananatrees, piled 29 And in everlasting shade. 30 near to flowing water 31 And fruit, abundant [and varied], 32 never-ending and unrestricted, 33 And couches raised up. 34 We have created (their Companions) of special creation. 35 And made them virgin - pure (and undefiled), - 36 Loving, equals in age, 37 for the people of the right hand 38

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
