Blessed be He Who hath placed in the heaven mansions of the stars, and hath placed therein a great lamp and a moon giving light! 61 It is He who has made the night and the day, one proceeding the other, for whoever wants to take heed or give thanks. 62 And the slaves of the Most Beneficent (Allah) are those who walk on the earth in humility and sedateness, and when the foolish address them (with bad words) they reply back with mild words of gentleness. 63 And these who pass the night before their Lord, prostrate and standing up. 64 And who submit, “Our Lord – avert the punishment of hell from us; indeed its punishment is a permanent neck-shackle.” 65 verily, how evil an abode and a station!"; 66 who in their spending are neither extravagant nor stingy but maintain moderation, 67 who do not worship idols besides God, nor without a just cause murder a soul to whom God has granted amnesty, who do not commit fornication, for those who do so have committed a sin 68 doubled for him on the Day of Resurrection is his punishment, and therein he shall live, humbled, 69 Excepted, however, shall be they who repent and attain to faith and do righteous deeds: for it is they whose [erstwhile] bad deeds God will transform into good ones - seeing that God is indeed much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace, 70 And whoever repents and does good has truly turned to Allah with an (acceptable) conversion;- 71 (And the servants of the Merciful are those:) who do not bear witness to falsehood and who; if they have ever to pass by what is vain, pass by like dignified people: 72 Who, when reminded of their Lord's revelations, do not fall for them like the deaf and blind; 73 who say, "Lord, grant us joy in our wives and children and make us a model for the righteous." 74 [Such as] these will be rewarded for all their patient endurance [in life] with a high station [in paradise,] and will be met therein with a greeting of welcome and peace, 75 There they shall abide forever: a blessed dwelling and a blessed resting place. 76 Say, "What would my Lord care for you, if you do not call on Him. Because you have indeed rejected the truth and His punishment is bound to overtake you. 77
