And this Qur'an is a revelation from the Lord of all the worlds, 192 the Faithful Spirit has brought it down 193 To communicate to your heart that you may be a warner 194 in a clear, Arabic tongue. 195 And verily, [the essence of] this [revelation] is indeed found in the ancient books of divine wisdom [as well]. 196 Was it not a sign for them known to the learned of the Children of Israel? 197 And had We sent it down upon a person other than an Arab, 198 they would still not have believed in it. 199 Thus have We caused this [message] to pass [unheeded] through the hearts of those who are lost in sin: 200 they will not believe in it until they see the grievous punishment. 201 It shall come to them of a sudden, while they perceive it not; 202 they say: "Can we be granted some respite?" 203 Do they then ask for Our Penalty to be hastened on? 204 Hast thou then seen, if We content them for (long) years, 205 Then there comes to them that with which they are threatened, 206 what will it then avail them, the enjoyment of days they were given? 207 And We did not destroy any town but it had (its) warners, 208 As a reminder; and never have We been unjust. 209 No evil ones have brought down this (Revelation): 210 it behoves them not, neither are they able. 211 Verily far from hearing are they removed. 212 So invoke not with Allah another ilah (god) lest you be among those who receive punishment. 213 Warn your close relatives 214 and be meek to the believers who follow you. 215 then, if they disobey thee, say, 'I am quit of that you do.' 216 And rely thou upon the Mighty, the Merciful. 217 Who watches you when you stand up. 218 and when thou turnest about among those who bow. 219 Lo! He, only He, is the Hearer, the Knower. 220 Shall I inform you (O people!) upon whom the Shayatin (devils) descend? 221 They descend upon every lying, sinful one, 222 They incline their ears, and most of them are liars. 223 And the Poets,- It is those straying in Evil, who follow them: 224 Have you not seen that they wander distract in every valley, 225 And they speak what they do not do? 226 Save those who believed and worked righteous works and remembered Allah much, and vindicated themselves after they had been wronged. And anon those who do wrong shall come to know with what a translating they shall be translated. 227
Almighty Allah's Truth.

The beginning and end of every Surah mention the Surahs sent down before and after. You can click or tap on either one to go there. Using this feature in ColorfulQuran.com, you can easily read the Surahs according to the order of their revelation from The Embryo (Al-Alaq) to The Victory (An-Nasr), which is different from their positional order in the Holy Book from The Key (Al-Fatihah) to The People (An-Nas).
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
