We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
