And indeed We have created man, and We know what his ownself whispers to him. And We are nearer to him than his jugular vein (by Our Knowledge). 16 (Remember!) that the two receivers (recording angels) receive (each human being after he or she has attained the age of puberty), one sitting on the right and one on the left (to note his or her actions). 17 each word he utters shall be noted down by a vigilant guardian. 18 And death's agony comes in truth; that is what thou wast shunning! 19 The trumpet will be sounded. This is the Day [you were] warned of. 20 Each soul shall come with a driver, and a witness. 21 [and will be told:] "Indeed, unmindful hast thou been of this [Day of Judgment]; but now We have lifted from thee thy veil, and sharp is thy sight today!" 22 His companion said: “Here is he who was in my charge.” 23 "Cast into Hell every ungrateful, rebellious one, 24 who is an opponent of good, a suspicious transgressor 25 "Who set up another god beside Allah: Throw him into a severe penalty." 26 ۞ His accompanying devil said, “Our Lord! I did not cause him to rebel, but he himself was in extreme error.” 27 He (Allah) will say: 'Do not dispute before Me. I sent you a warning beforehand. 28 The word will not be changed with Me, and never will I be unjust to the servants." 29
