And assuredly unto the household of Fir'awn came the warning. 41 but they gave the lie to Our Signs, to all of them. Thereupon We seized them with the seizing of the Most Mighty, the Most Powerful. 42 Are your disbelievers better than those, or have ye some immunity in the scriptures? 43 Or do they say: "We are a group united, [and therefore] bound to prevail"? 44 Their multitude will be put to flight, and they will show their backs. 45 But the Hour is their appointment [for due punishment], and the Hour is more disastrous and more bitter. 46 Indeed the wrongdoers are in error and a raging fire. 47 The Day they will be dragged through the Fire on their faces, (they will hear:) "Taste ye the touch of Hell!" 48 Lo! We have created every thing by measure. 49 And Our Order is but one word like the flashing of an eye. 50 We have destroyed the likes of you; is there any that will remember? 51 And everything they did is in written records. 52 every action, small or great, is noted down. 53 Verily, The Muttaqun (pious), will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers (Paradise). 54 in a sure abode, in the presence of a King Omnipotent. 55
