The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
