Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Have We not caused thy bosom to dilate, 1 and relieved you of your burden 2 Which had weighed upon your back 3 and granted you an exalted reputation? 4 Surely with hardship there is ease. 5 Most certainly, there is ease with hardship. 6 So when you finish the prayer, strive in supplication. 7 and let your longing be for your Lord (in humility). 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
